The engineers of the PCB supplier should be very careful in designing the PCB data. The surface treatment process, the solder mask color, the character color, the via processing method, the plug hole or the cover oil or the window processing, must be laid out by software. This is higher level requirements in PCB design.
After the design problem is solved, the next step is the board-making process. Many factors must be considered in the early stage of board production. For example, unreasonable board selection, improper board thickness and installation and fixing, improper layout and wiring of components may cause the PCB to fail to work reliably, early failure or even fail to work correctly at all. Another example is that multi-layer boards are much easier to design than single and double panels, but they are not as reliable as single and double panels. From the perspective of reliability, the simpler the structure, the smaller the use surface, the fewer the number of board layers, and the higher the reliability.
Wiring is the final stage of the implementation of printed circuit board design. In order to obtain the best possible performance of electronic circuits, the layout of packaged devices and the wiring of wires are very important. In order to enable to design great PCB board with good quality, for printed boards with low cost and short processing cycle, the following principles and requirements are proposed for designers’ reference. This is the most basic and most important requirement for printed board design. It is beautiful to realize the connection relationship of the electrical schematic diagram and avoid the two simple and fatal mistakes of “short circuit” and “open circuit”. This basic requirement is not easy to achieve in manual design and PCB designed with simple CAD software.
Wiring includes manual wiring and computer-aided design (CAD). The design of relatively simple printed circuit adopts manual wiring to meet the requirements. The biggest advantage of manual wiring is design flexibility. It is not limited to a fixed algorithm, it can make full use of the experience accumulated by PCB suppliers, and it is difficult to compile all of these experiences into the program.
