Introduction For Raw Material Commonly Used In PCB

  1. FR – 4

Code of a flame resistant material grade, represented by the mean resin material after combustion state must be able to put out a material specification, it is not a material name, but a level of material, so the general FR – 4 grade materials used in the circuit board has a lot of kinds, but most are based on the so-called four functions (Tera – FuncTIon) of epoxy resin and Filler (Filler) and glass fiber made of composite materials.

 

  1. Resin

A kind of heat curing material, can occur polymer polymerization reaction, PCB industry is commonly used in epoxy resin.

Functional features:

Electrical insulation can be used as an adhesive between copper foil and reinforcement (glass fiber cloth) resistance to electricity, heat, chemical resistance, water resistance

 

  1. Glass fiber cloth

An inorganic material that is fused at high temperature and cooled into an amorphous hard substance, and then is interwoven by warp and weft yarns to form a reinforcing material. Common E- glass fiber cloth specifications are: 106, 1080, 3313, 2116, 7628.

 

  1. Aluminum substrate

Its substrate, of course, is aluminum, which is composed of copper skin, insulating layer and aluminum sheet. It is now commonly used in the LED lighting industry because of its good heat dissipation performance.
