Requirements for PCBA Transportation And Storage Conditions

In order to ensure the quality of PCBA, the transportation and storage of PCBA should also strictly abide by various operating specifications. So, what are the requirements for PCBA transportation and storage conditions?

 

1. Anti-static

Do a good job of anti-static measures for PCBA, use suitable containers, tools, etc.

 

2. Use suitable means of transport

Tools should be in good condition, such as wheels, frames, etc.. Abnormality should be reported for repairs in time, and it is forbidden to use “wounded” to avoid falling and squeezing of semi-finished products during transportation.

 

3. Check common tools

Transportation tools, storage tools, and storage at work stations must be cleaned before operations, and sundries and tin slag are not allowed. Avoid damage to the PCBA caused by mutual friction.

 

4. Identify important information

Transport and storage PCBA containers and tool carts should be clearly marked, and product-related information should be recorded to avoid misplacement and mixed placement.

 

5. Stacking requirements

It is forbidden to directly stack PCBAs on transportation tools, during storage in turnover areas, and in process stations. Especially during transportation, direct overlapping and friction will cause damage to components.

 

6. Loading and unloading requirements

In the process of transportation and loading and unloading of PCBA, it must be safe and orderly, and brutal loading and unloading is prohibited.

 

7. Prevent falling

When storing PCBAs on transportation vehicles and in the turnover area, protect the surrounding areas after stacking to avoid falling.

 

8. Prevent friction damage

During transportation, pay attention to whether the road surface is in good condition, there are no obstacles, potholes and protrusions, etc., to avoid damage to semi-finished products caused by vehicle bumps. The speed of the means of transport should be balanced and reasonable.

 

9. Transshipment requirements

The transfer of boards between stations is carried out by means of conveyor belts or “hand-to-hand”, and it is necessary to avoid overlapping placement and extrusion of PCBAs. It is strictly forbidden to throw, throw and other actions during transfer and delivery.

 

10. Dustproof requirements

The storage of PCBA in the turnover area should ensure that the storage tools are stable and protected, and are strictly limited to the specified area. The top layer should take measures to prevent dust and fall.

 

11. Stacking principle

Storage should pay attention to the stacking principles such as height and weight to avoid isolated single stacks.

 

12. Prevent impact

When approaching the corner of the passage, the head and tail of the assembly line, etc., pay attention to other pedestrians and vehicles to avoid accidental collision of other vehicles and personnel, which may cause damage to the product.

 

13. Prevent extrusion

The PCBA should be separated by a spacer and should not exceed the upper edge of the container to avoid squeezing.

 

14. Workbench selection

For a large amount of storage that is not suitable for the work surface, a suitable container should be selected and placed around the operator to facilitate the operator’s access.

 

15. Exception handling

In the event of tool abnormalities during transportation, first of all, ensure the safety of personnel and items, and do a good job in isolation and reporting.
